I have a car to part exchange, how does this factor into a finance plan?

The car will act as a deposit for your finance plan and therefore either reduce the amount of your loan period and will reduce the amount in which you will pay long term.

Although no deposit or part exchange is required to get an approved car finance plan with us either or both can increase the chances of obtaining credit available and the total amount including interest of the finance plan will be reduced.

I have had a loan with one of the credit companies you use; will I still be able to get credit although I defaulted on my agreement?

Although the company you have previously had credit with might not approve you for credit, we have many other finance providers which may accept your application. Every finance company looks at individual situations differently.

I am an ex-bankrupt after my business went under during the recession; I now work for a major building firm as a plasterer, will being previously bankrupt affect my application?

The truth is it may have a slight baring on your application but this should not worry you or stop you from applying as a steady income, permanent place of residence and an ability to make the repayments is all that is required for your application to be successful. Being able to afford the repayments is the main thing so as long as your outgoings leave you with a sum of money for which can be used as a car loan repayment, there maybe no reason for which you may not be eligible for car credit.

I am self employed and do not have a steady income, can I still get approved for a car loan?

The simple is answer, yes.

The finance providers that we use will accept and approve applications from a wide range of applicants including those with CCJ's, those within the armed forces, self employed and those whom may not have any credit history at all.

I do not have a deposit to help secure a loan for a car: how does the "No Deposit Needed" policy work?

Deposits on finance agreements with our wide range of lenders are not crucial, every customer is based on their individual circumstances and deposits only form a small part of the decision making process.

I have seen a car I like on your forecourt; how often are the cars changed and is there any way in which I can reserve the car whilst my application is being processed?

Yes, absolutely no problem, we would require a small deposit, deposits start from £99 to hold any vehicle. In most cases we would know within 24 hours if we can secure you a finance deal to suit you.

How is Your Car Credit different from all of the other car finance providers?

We are different as we are not an actual finance company. We take your details and then look round for the best deal possible for you. We sell our own cars and they are all HPI Clear, serviced and Mot'd before sale. All cars are also given a warranty.

I have a specific make and model of car in which I have my heart set on, Is it available at Your Car Credit?

We do have a search and find policy if you require a particular vehicle. If you contact us with your specific requirements we will talk you through our search and find policy.

If you have any questions which currently do not feature on this FAQ's page, it may be that someone else has not asked the question yet so please do not hesitate to get in contact and we will do our best to get back to you.
